FYI: I drove to work in the snow and arrived in one piece-me, the car, and the people around me! The road is a plane of white snow and ice and you have to imagine where the lanes might me but.....I arrived safely. It is still snowing heavily!

The snow pictures are great! I can't believe how hard it is snowing. I am certainly glad you arrived to work in one piece! I remeber the snowbanks when we went in March. They looked like concrete barricades all around the place. I hope you are staying warm.

Those orange flags are on the side of the roads, the bridges (so you can tell where the edge is?), the benches at the bus stops, the fire hydrants, etc! It takes about 10 minutes to get to work usually but about 20 now with the ice on the roads. I guess they have snow plows here but you couldn't prove it by me-I haven't seen on yet. The main roads are starting to improve some-the snow and ice have been beaten down and the roads are starting to kind of dry. But, not everywhere....the other roads, like the ones around my apt, are just packed down snow that gets wet and freezes overnight. You really have to be careful around the stop signs and red lights. I'm actually doing pretty good out there on the road!
