Herbal medicine is the medicine of the people. Plants have always provided for the people and continue to do so- all we have to do is open our lives to their power. No degree, no license required. Just a curious mind and a spirit open to what they have to teach us. I believe the plants have the power to heal from the cellular level to the universal!

Temperature tonight is supposed to be 20 BELOW!!!! We had just a day of snow the last time I blogged and nothing more. I am afraid my love affair with Alaska is becoming somewhat strained. The temperature has fallen into the low single digits to below zero this week but the sun is shining-beautiful outside but who can stand to be out there. I really hate the cold without any snow...and it's in the upper 60s to low 70s in Texas. I am ready to go home-can't wait for the 22nd of March!

Yeah, I heard about the weather-the only thing about the wedding that was not perfect. I saw the pictures of the men in their jeans and the women dressed to kill and wondered what they thought they were getting into LOL
hang in there, at least the sun is shining, remember two months ago when it was this cold and it was dark too?
Yes, the sun is beautiful and it is so nice to come to work and go home in the daylight...and going to fur rhondy this weekend really brightened me up!
I haven't ever been in 20 below, but I think I would prefer it to a "red day" in West Texas. The main character in "The Wind" went plumb crazy. Oh, but I think the characters in "White Fang" and "Call of the Wild" were driven a little off-center by the cold, too. Maybe NZ isn't so bad.
