THE WEATHER IS BORRRING:
I am really ready for some snow!!! If this is not the end of winter, and everyone assures me it isn't, then I am ready for some snow! The weather forecast is for the teens at night and the upper 20s to mid 30s in the day. Our only chance of snow is tonight and that is only about an inch. Of course, I have noticed that weather forecasting in Alaska is sort of hit and miss.....but, still I am pretty tired of this weather! I miss the snow!!!

When I got out of work last night we were having that beautiful crytalized snow....I don't know what it is actually but it looks like glitter falling from the sky. Then it snowed through the evening and night-we had maybe an inch. The snow plows worked on our street last night-very loud! They grated all the snow from the sides of the street into the middle and then they bring in the dump trucks and take it up off the street into a fleet of dump trucks which go somewhere and dump it. All of this, of course, in the middle of the night! I had forgotten how wide the streets really were!
The weather forecasting has got to be better than ours. Lately we have been getting "Sunny or otherwise raining" Isn't THAT helpful!
Sunny or otherwise raining...that's a hoot!!!! Well, we were supposed to have a chance of snow on the night I posted the blog and otherwise nothing. Instead it has been snowing off and on until yesterday. Not much total though...
I am wishing for more snow but NOT that much!!!
